Link with a school in Tanzania
School Life is a little different in Tanzania. Children still enjoying having fun as they learn but they do not have the same resources as children in England do.
Miss Dogan worked Reader Rabbits School in Tanzania for the last few years prior to joining RFPS. Although she has now moved back home to England and join us at Rugby Free Primary School, she has enjoyed sharing her experiences of her time in Tanzania and teaching us about how school’s work in Africa and how children learn.
Miss Dogan made a special powerpoint presentation for her Dazzling Ducks class to show them a few of the special moments she had with her class in Tanzania last year. Click here to see the presentation and learn a little more about school in Tanzania.
Miss Dogan has also ran an Around the World Club after school focusing on Tanzania which has given children who wish to develop the links further the opportunity to network with children in Tanzania and do some of the activities which they are doing over there.
We thank Miss Dogan for allowing us this fabulous opportunity to learn more about African culture and the differences and similarities to our lives in England. This has really helped in our drive to develop global cohesion and learn more about different cultures and ways of life around the world.
