On 24th March 2017, our School Council organised for RFPS to take part in ‘crazy colours’ day in order to raise money for Red Nose Day. We also had a Jokathon organised by our school council. The children told their jokes in their classes and their classes had a democratical vote to decide on two finalists to tell them on stage. The school council then scored each of the finalists and awarded prizes for the best two. It was great fun and even the teachers took part, everybody had a really ‘crazy’ day!
The money raised goes towards some incredible projects, in the UK and in Africa, that have found effective ways to tackle poverty and injustice, for example it might pay for Immunisation, Education or work in fighting Malaria.
Thank you to our school council for organising this special day.
