Rugby Free Primary School constantly strives to develop further and, as with most school, RFPS has a yearly School Development Plan which identifies strategic objectives which are the key focus for that academic year. At RFPS, we continually self evaluate our progress in all areas of school life and adapt this plan accordingly as the year progresses. Our self-evaluation comprises of a number of key components that collect information, data and evidence about the standards in the school which are then analysed and collated. The findings are then used to further identify or adapt priorities to improve the various aspects of school life.
At RFPS, we formally evaluate against our School Development Plan at least termly and then we spend considerable time reflecting on the whole year as the academic year comes to an end, producing a summary self evaluation document and making judgements on each area of school life.
For parents, community members and visitors to our website, we have produced a three year plan summarising our key priorities this year and our proposed priorities moving forward. This can be found by clicking here:
If you would like to discuss this further, view the whole School Development Plan, or if you have any suggestions about areas which we can further develop and improve at RFPS, please do not hesitate to contact the school office.
