We had our first ‘Inspire Workshop’ for parents today. It was based around Maths. Our parents got the opportunity to watch two lessons – one number based and one shape, space and measure based. We then did a short activity with our parents based on this. After the number lesson, we had to count mystery objects which had been placed in hoops and see if we could use all of our cards, then we had to practice our number formation using multi coloured felt tips. After the shape, space and measure lesson, we had to go on a shape hunt around the school but it was quite tricky as there were some tricks planted which were not real shapes. We all had lots of fun.
Thank you to Miss Samra for organising today’s workshop, a great time was had by all!
