Local Governing Body
School governors play an important role in the life of a school. They provide strategic leadership and accountability and support the school in delivering its aims and objectives whilst ensuring the correct policies, plans and procedures are in place. All governors are fully supportive of our school’s vision and ethos.
At Rugby Free Primary School, we are fortunate in that the role of the Governing Body is supported by the Learning Today Leading Tomorrow Trust (Formerly known as Knowledge School Trust) meaning that governors can focus more on the educational achievement of the school.
The Chair of the Local Governing Body, the Vice Chair and Governors were appointed by Members of Learning Today Leading Tomorrow Trust following a rigorous application and interview process prior to opening. Parent Governors were appointed by election during the Autumn Term post opening.
