At the end of April we celebrated Science Week. Each day the children had a different experiment which made them question, investigate and test. It was lovely to see the buzz around school and the children were very vocal in their enjoyment! A huge thank you to Miss Tyler for her brilliant organisation and all of the time she has devoted to make sure the children had fun, engaged and passionate about Science and the world around us.
World Book Day
We had a fantastic day celebrating our rescheduled World Book Day which also coincided with World Book Night and Shakespeare’s birthday on 23rd April. Everyone looked amazing in their costumes and the children took part in lots of activities; a catwalk show of costumes, drawing, describing book characters, animating dialogue from a book on the computer, book scavenger hunts, talking about their favourite books, creating book bunting and literary quizzes. We love books!
From 26th April RFPS are taking part in the WOW! - Walk to School Challenge. We want as many of our pupils as possible to travel to school sustainably at least once a week for a month. This could be walking, cycling, scooting or Park and Stride. We hope you enjoy the challenge and look forward to hearing about your journeys to school!
