School Development Priorities

School improvement and development is the key to continual success. We don’t believe that there is ever a time where any person, group or organisation cannot improve further, in any capacity.

Our School Development Plan is written by school leaders who are focused on the areas in which the school needs to improve on over the course of the year. Some of the areas are small steps to achieve something greater in years to come and others are specific areas which need immediate improvement.

Greatness comes through  continuous improvement  not immediate  perfection.

These school improvement decisions are based on the following:

  • Observations of learning by leaders

  • Discussions/views from parents, pupils, staff, Local Governing Body/Trust and School Improvement Partners

  • Changes in the community/local context

  • New requirements from the Department for Education

  • High quality educational research

  • Analysing school assessment/performance data

Attached are the School Development Priorities of the school for 2023-2024. They are constantly adapted and developed in line with changing pupils’ needs. We focus on the impact of the development/work to discover our next steps in improvement.

If you would like further information regarding our priorities and development, please contact the school office and a member of the Senior Leadership Team will be only too happy to discuss this with you.
